Berlitz Kids‚ and Color Me Mine Combine Cultural Offerings for Kids
Princeton, NJ (September 2, 2003)– Berlitz Kids‚, a business segment of Berlitz Languages, Inc., the leading provider of language instruction, today announced a partnership with Color Me Mine Enterprises, Inc., the leading franchise chain in the Paint-Your-Own-Ceramics industry. Together, they will offer a series of distinctive classes for children, which combine an art lesson with a language lesson.
Children will have the opportunity during each lesson at a Color Me Mine Studio to study great artists, design their own pieces, and learn either Spanish or French, complete with vocabulary relevant to the chosen art class. Classes run for 8 weeks and begin in October. “Both Color Me Mine and Berlitz appeal to children who are interested in learning the history, customs and language of another culture while having fun creating their own artwork,” said CMM Marketing Director Tara Barnett. These unique art and language classes are engaging, interactive and specially designed for children ages 8 to 12. Native-fluent Berlitz instructors teach the language lessons using the famous Berlitz Method‚, a conversational approach to language learning. “The synergy between Berlitz and Color Me Mine allows us to offer a rich, complete experience for kids,” said Susan Jacoby, National Director, Berlitz Kids‚. “Studying art is the perfect complement to studying a foreign language.”
