Color Me Mine Joins with Elle and Woman’s Day magazines
For Stuart Little 2 Sweepstakes Promotion
North Hollywood, CA.– Color Me Mine Enterprises, Inc. (www.colormemine.com), the leading franchise chain in the Paint-Your-Own-Ceramics industry, announced today that it will join Elle Magazine (www.ELLEgirl.com and www.ELLE.com) and Woman’s Day (www.WomansDay.com) as sponsors of a promotion for Columbia Pictures’ upcoming film, Stuart Little 2 due to be released nationwide in theaters July 19, 2002.
Plucky, pint-sized hero Stuart Little (voiced by Michael J. Fox) returns in Stuart Little 2, delighting audiences with his big heart and even more action-packed adventure. This time, Stuart must journey through the city with a reluctant Snowbell (voiced by Nathan Lane) to rescue a new friend, Margalo (voiced by Melanie Griffith), from a villainous Falcon (voiced by James Woods). Back for Stuart Little 2 are Stuart’s entire family from the original holiday hit: Geena Davis (Mrs. Little), Hugh Laurie (Mr. Little) and Jonathan Lipnicki (George Little), as well as Nathan Lane (voice of Snowbell) and Steve Zahn (voice of Monty).
Tara Barnett, Director of Marketing for CMMEI explains, “this is a perfect match up for Color Me Mine as nearly 50% of our market makeup includes children between the ages of 5 and 12. Children will be able to come to Color Me Mine and paint their favorite Stuart Little characters on a ceramic piece of their choice using character art and design templates provided to each of our 60 studios nationwide under a temporary license negotiated with Columbia Pictures. Additionally, Color Me Mine will be providing a Grand Prize of a Paint-It-Yourself-Ceramics Party for the winner of the Stuart Little II Sweepstakes. According to Mullaney Richmond, who manages CMMEI’s CeramiTrans division for computer generated design transfers there will be approximately 15 different animated designs formatted in multiple sizes for customer convenience.
